Merlot Syrah 'Baglio del Sole' Feudi del Pisciotto

This distinctive wine from Sicily embodies traditional Italian winemaking heritage. With 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Syrah 50% and Merlot 50%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in Niscemi, at 80 metres above sea level on mixed soils rich in sand. Vinification: alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in steel vats controlled temperature. The wine is aged 6 months in concrete tanks and 4 months in bottle. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
