This Monica di Sardegna DOC captures the distinctive personality of Sardinia terroir. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Monica 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines of 25/30 years old from the cru "Su staini saliu", cultivated on clay and limestone soils. Vinification: destemming and pressing, after maceration on the skins for 5 days and finish with the fermentation in steel vats. The wine is aged 6 months in cement vats and 2 or 3 months in bottle. A wine reflecting the island's ancient indigenous grape heritage.
