A fine example of Umbria winemaking, this Montefalco DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 14.5% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Sangiovese 60%, Montepulciano 25%, Sagrantino 15%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 15 years old vines in Pipparello vineyard sites at 400 meters above sea level, site on clayey and gravelly soils, East/South/West facing. Grown organically. Vinification: spontaneous fermentation with 42 days of maceration. Wine Unfiltered and dosed with little sulfur. The wine is aged 12 months in steel vats, 24 months in Slavonian oak casks, 12 months in bottle. A wine showing the elegant, structured style typical of Umbrian reds.
