Produced in Umbria, this wine reflects a genuine sense of place. At 15% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Sagrantino 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in a hilly soil at 230 metres above sea level, faced to South East. Organic and biodynamic farming. Vinification: spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel tanks. Without filtrations. The wine is aged 24 months in new big oak barrels, 6 months in steel vats and other 18 in bottle. A wine showing the elegant, structured style typical of Umbrian reds.
Umbria, at the green heart of Italy, produces elegant wines from a centuries-old tradition.
