This exceptional Monferrato DOC showcases the authentic character of Umbria. With 14.5% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Sangiovese 60%, Sagrantino 20%, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot 20%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards over 40 years old vines in a hilly clayey soil, faced to South and South-West. Vinification: fermentation with indigenous yeasts in open wooden vats. Without filtrations and with minimum added sulphites. The wine is aged at least 30 months in big Slavonian oak barrels that are 5-70 years old. A wine reflecting Umbria's hillside terroir at the heart of Italy.
The region's hillside vineyards yield structured reds and refined whites alike.
