Produced in Sicily, this wine reflects a genuine sense of place. At 15.5% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in contrada Feudo di Mezzo in Cru Porcaria at 640 metres above sea level on clayey and sandy soils. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation with skins maceration for 60 days. The wine is aged some months in resin vats of 1500 a 2500 litres. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
