A fine example of Piedmont winemaking, this Langhe DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 14% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Nebbiolo 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 19-22 years vines, on calcareous soil, at 270 metres of altitude, with south exposition. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in rotofermenters for one week and malolactic fermentation in barrique. The wine is aged 12 months in barrique and 2 months in bottle without filtrations. A wine true to Piedmont tradition, built for age-worthy elegance.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
