A fine example of Piedmont winemaking, this Langhe DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 14.5% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Nebbiolo 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 20 years old vines rooted in a clayey calcareou soil, faced to South and South-West, at 350 m above sea level in Serralunga village. Vinification: fermentation in steel tanks on the skins for about 10-15 days. The wine is aged 12 months in small and big oak barrels and at least 6 months in bottle. A wine combining Piedmont's trademark power with finesse and complexity.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
