This exceptional Valle d'Aosta DOC showcases the authentic character of Valle d'Aosta. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Petite Arvine 60%, Pinot Grigio 20%, Chardonnay 20%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. The fruit is sourced from vineyards moraine, loose, sandy soil on a slope with various exposures at an altitude of 350 to 700 metres above sea level. Vinification: soft pressing, fermentation partly in 30 hl French oak vats and partly in French oak barriques. The wine is aged 12 months in wood and 18 months in bottle. A wine showing the alpine purity typical of this small mountain region.
Valle d'Aosta, Italy's smallest wine region, grows vines at some of the country's highest altitudes.
