A fine example of Tuscany winemaking, this Sant'Antimo DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 14.5% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from the homonymous Olmaia vineyard located in the hills of Sant'Angelo in Colle at 350 meters with south / south-west orientation. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in 50 hl steel vats at a controlled temperature with maceration on the skins for 20 days. Malolactic fermentation in steel. The wine is aged 18 months in French oak (95%) and American oak (5%) barriques. A wine reflecting Tuscany's renowned terroir with elegant tannin structure and aging potential.
Tuscan winemakers blend centuries-old tradition with modern technique, crafting wines that express a truly unique landscape.
