Crafted from Merlot 50%, Cabernet Franc 20%, Cabernet Sauvignon 30%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards clay, gravelly and pebbly soils in a 7.5-hectare cru bordering Ornellaia on the right and Sassicaia on the left. Southern exposure from vines about 20 years old. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation and maceration on the skins for 18 days. The wine is aged 18 months in wood, then another 12 months in bottle. A wine reflecting Tuscany's renowned terroir with elegant tannin structure and aging potential.
