A fine example of Umbria winemaking, this Orvieto DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its modest 12% alcohol content favours freshness and drinkability. Crafted from Grechetto 70%, Procanico 30%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards at 200-300 meters above sea level on sedimentary soils with the presence of marine fossils, pebbles and calcareous agglomerations. Vinification: fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel tanks for 20 days. The wine is aged 6 months in steel on the lees. A wine showing the elegant, structured style typical of Umbrian reds.
Umbria, at the green heart of Italy, produces elegant wines from a centuries-old tradition.
