A fine example of Umbria winemaking, this Orvieto DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its modest 12% alcohol content favours freshness and drinkability. Crafted from Grechetto 90%, Trebbiano Procanico 10%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. The fruit is sourced from vineyards manual harvest in small boxes. The 5% of the grapes is attacked by Noble Rot, Botrytis Cinerea. Vinification: cold maceration for 24 hours and spontaneaous alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks with indigenous yeasts. Malolactic fermentation in big French oak barrels. The wine is aged 12 months in big French oak barrels and other 12 in bottle. A wine reflecting Umbria's hillside terroir at the heart of Italy.
