A fine example of Alto Adige winemaking, this Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Pinot Nero 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards at 450 metres above sea level on clay and limestone soils. Vinification: alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in steel tanks with skins maceration for 8 days at controlled temperature. The wine is aged 5 months in oak barrels and in concrete tanks. A wine reflecting the region's cool mountain climate and precise winemaking.
