This exceptional Oltrepò Pavese DOC showcases the authentic character of Lombardy. With 13% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Pinot Nero 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on the first hills of Casteggio on clayey-calcareous soil at 160 meters above sea level. Vinification: fermentation in steel at controlled temperature with maceration on the skins for 15 days. Complete malolactic fermentation in small barrels. The wine is aged 12 months in wood barrels of 25 hl and 6 months in steel tanks. A wine reflecting the alpine influence found across Lombardy's varied terroir.
