This Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC captures the distinctive personality of Alto Adige terroir. At 14% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Pinot Noir 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from 3 selected plots of the "girlan" sub-area, located 500 meters above sea level from 20-25 year old vines on poor and gravelly soils. formed by moraine deposits and volcanic rock. Vinification: fermentation in steel vats for 25 days. The wine is aged 20 months in barrique. A wine capturing the crystalline character of Alto Adige's high-altitude vineyards.
