A fine example of Alto Adige winemaking, this Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Pinot Nero 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards located in Mazon, rooted in a soil rich in clay, limestone and porphyry. Vinification: destemming for the 75%, fermentation and maceration on the skins for 10 days in oak barrels. The wine is aged 12 months in barriques, 6 in big oak barrels and others 12 in bottle. A wine reflecting the region's cool mountain climate and precise winemaking.
Alto Adige combines Italian and Austrian winemaking traditions in Italy's northernmost wine region.
