This Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC captures the distinctive personality of Alto Adige terroir. With 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Pinot Noir 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards more over than 10 years old vines located at 400-550 meters above sea level on calcareous soils. South-East/North-East facing. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in oak casks with maceration on the skins for 2 weeks. The wine is aged 12 months in barriques and tonneaux. A wine capturing the crystalline character of Alto Adige's high-altitude vineyards.
Alto Adige combines Italian and Austrian winemaking traditions in Italy's northernmost wine region.
