This Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC captures the distinctive personality of Alto Adige terroir. At 14% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Pinot Nero 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards located in Corona a Cortaccia (850 m above sea level), in Pinzano/Mazzon (400-550 m) and in Fiè di Sotto (750 -980 m). Vinification: alcoholic fermentation on the skins in steel vats, with malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged 8 months in small and big oak barrels. A wine showing the alpine freshness and purity typical of Alto Adige.
