This exceptional Menfi DOC showcases the authentic character of Sicily. Its modest 12% alcohol content favours freshness and drinkability. Crafted from Nero d’Avola 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect vibrant red-fruit notes and a refreshing, food-friendly finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in a calcareous soil near to the sea, faced to East and West. Organic farming. Vinification: destemming and soft pressing without maceration on the skins, shot cold settling and alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel tanks. The wine is aged 5 months on the lees in steel tanks. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
