Rosso 'Gaio Gaio' Calabretta

Hailing from Sicily, this wine offers an authentic taste of the local terroir. With 13% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Red grapes, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards alberello system on volcanic soil rich in sand, gravel and rocks. Organic farming. Vinification: drestemming, pressing, spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks with maceration for 7 days and malolactic fermentation in oak barrels. The wine is aged 36 months in oak barrels and almost one year in the bottle. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
