A fine example of Tuscany winemaking, this Colline Lucchesi DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 13.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Sangiovese 70%, Merlot 20%, Syrah 10%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 15 years old vines site at 120-190 meters above sea level on limestone soils rich of marls and sandstone, South facing. Grown organically. Vinification: destemming, feet crushing in wood tanks, spontaneous fermentation in oak casks. Unfitered an unclarified. The wine is aged 12 months for 40% in concrete vats, for 60% in second-hand barriques. A wine capturing the sun-drenched hills of Tuscany in every glass.
Tuscany is Italy's most celebrated wine region, home to legendary denominations like Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
