Hailing from Sicily, this wine offers an authentic taste of the local terroir. Its 14% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Nero d’Avola, Syrah, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards rooted in a clayey calcareou soil, faced to South and South-West, in Tenuta Baglio Sorìa Estate from Trapani area. Vinification: fermentation in steel tanks on the skins for 10 days. The wine is aged 8 months in American barriques. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
Volcanic soils around Mount Etna impart a distinctive mineral character found across many Sicilian wines.
