This Bolgheri Sassicaia DOC captures the distinctive personality of Tuscany terroir. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon 85% and Cabernet Franc 15%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards calcareous soils rich of galestro and partially clayey, altitude between 100 and 300 meters, exposure to West / South-West. Vinification: pressing of the grapes, alcoholic fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature, maceration for 9-12 days in steel, malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged 24 months in French oak barriques. A wine true to the storied winemaking heritage of Tuscany.
