This exceptional Collio DOC showcases the authentic character of Friuli Venezia Giulia. With 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Sauvignon 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in a hilly area, made up of marl (silts and limestone clays) and sandstone sands, located at 80-200 meters above sea level. Vinification: harvest of 5% of overripe grapes, cold maceration and fermentation for 30% in oak barrels and for the remainder in steel tanks. The wine is aged 36 months in steel tanks (70%) and wood barrels (30%), then at least 12 months in the bottle. A wine reflecting Friuli's reputation for aromatic precision and minerality.
Friuli producers are known for meticulous, terroir-driven winemaking, especially with native white varieties.
