Crafted from Schiava 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards sites on gravel to limestone soils, South/East facing at 400-450 meters above sea level. Yields per hectare of 70 hectoliters. Vinification: fermentation on skins in steel vats. Malolactic fermentation in big oak casks. The wine is aged 5-6 months in big oak casks. A wine showing the alpine freshness and purity typical of Alto Adige.
