This Sforzato di Valtellina DOCG stands as a benchmark for Lombardy's highest quality classification. With 16% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca) 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards guyot-trained vines on sandy and silty soils, exposed to the south at an altitude between 350 and 500 meters. Vinification: bunches selected and dried until mid-January to increase concentration, soft crushing, alcohol fermentation at controlled temperatures in steel tanks. The wine is aged 18 months in oak barrels. A wine reflecting the alpine influence found across Lombardy's varied terroir.
