This Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC captures the distinctive personality of Alto Adige terroir. Its 12.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Chardonnay 60%, Pinot Nero 40%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. A steady stream of fine bubbles supports a bright, refreshing palate. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in calcareous soil between 450 and 700 metres above sea level. Vinification: short maceration on the skins, soft pressing, alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks separated for the 2 grape type and second fermentation in bottle with disgorging according to the Traditional Method. The wine is aged 24 months on the lees. A wine showing the alpine freshness and purity typical of Alto Adige.
Alto Adige combines Italian and Austrian winemaking traditions in Italy's northernmost wine region.
