Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 85%, Minella Nera, Alicante, Bouschet and Minella Bianco 15%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines of over 50 years terraced on volcanic soils in contrade Picciolo Malpasso, Campio Re, Crasà, Piano Daini and Feudo di Mezzo. Vinification: spontaneous fermentation in fiberglass tanks with maceration on the skins for 60 days. The wine is aged some months in neutral fiberglass tanks. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
