Tasting Notes

Among the most celebrated expressions of its category, this Taurasi DOCG showcases exceptional craftsmanship. Its 13.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Aglianico 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 20 yeard old vines in Montemarano on clayey soils and in Mirabella Eclano on sandy soils. Vinification: alcohoic fermentation and long skin maceration in steel vats with control temperature. The wine is aged 18 months in barriques and oak barrels. A wine showing the volcanic and mineral character typical of Campania's soils.
