A fine example of Veneto winemaking, this Valpolicella DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 14% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Corvina and Corvinone 70%, Rondinella 30% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vineyards on the hills on medium-textured soil of calcareous matrix in Marano, Fiumane, Negrar and San Pietro in Cariano. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature with first maceration on the skins in steel for 10 days and a second 3-day review on the pomace of Amarone and Recioto. The wine is aged 9 months in large oak barrels of 50 hl. A wine showing the technical precision Veneto producers are known for.
