A fine example of Sicily winemaking, this Sicilia DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 13% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Viognier 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in Contrada Pianetto, at 650 metres above sea level on clayey soils rich in mineral stones. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel vats controlled temperature. The wine is aged 3 months on the lees in steel vats and 2 months in bottle. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
