Crafted from Carricante 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. The fruit is sourced from vineyards at Contrada Val Cerasa, on sandy and volcanic soils, at 850 meters on sea level. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel vats, a small part is fermented on the skins and is joined later, malolactc. The wine is aged some months on the lees in steel vats. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
