Hailing from Sicily, this wine offers an authentic taste of the local terroir. With 12.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Minella 60%, Catarratto, Carricante, Coda di Volpe, Grecanico e Inzolia 40%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate is fresh and precise, with lively acidity carrying through to the finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines average 45-50 years in age at 650 metres above sea level on soils rich in volcanic ash. Vinification: spontaneous fermentation with only indigenous yeast in concrete tanks with skin maceration for 5 days. The wine is aged 8 months in used oak barrels. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
