'Capogatto' Poggio Scalette

Produced in Tuscany, this wine reflects a genuine sense of place. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Merlot 25%, Cabernet Sauvignon 25%, Cabernet Franc 25% and Petit Verdot 25%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards volpe vineyard, at 400 metres above sea level on sandy and loamy soils with South exposure. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel vats for 12 days temperature-controlled. The wine is aged 18 months in 225 l barrique and 8 months in bottle. A wine true to the storied winemaking heritage of Tuscany.
