This Carignano del Sulcis DOC captures the distinctive personality of Sardinia terroir. At 14% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Carignano 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from the Campomaccione estate, in the province of Grossetto, on soils rich in sandstone with a sandy texture at about 130 meters above sea level with north, north-west exposure. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature. The wine is aged some months in steel tanks and, for the 15%, in French oak barrels. A wine showing the sun-baked intensity typical of Sardinian vineyards.
