This Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG stands as a benchmark for Sicily's highest quality classification. At 13% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Nero d'Avola 60%, Frappato 40%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on soils composed of red sands (dark for Nero d'Avola and lighter for Frappato) of medium texture and good depth. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature. The wine is aged 12 months in wood barrels and tonneaux, 9 other months in bottle. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
Sicily, the Mediterranean's largest island, pairs ancient viticultural heritage with a dynamic modern wine renaissance.
