Crafted from Sangiovese 85%, Canaiolo 5%, Mammolo 5%, Merlot 5%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from vigna Monticchio of Tenuta Torgiano, at 300 metres of altitude and with west exposure. Vinification: de-stemmed and crushed grapes, alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks. The wine is aged 30% of the mass in large barrels for 4 months.
