Crafted from Sangiovese 90%, Malvasia Nera, Colorino, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon 10%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in the area of Chianti Rufina, at an altitude of 250-500 m. above sea level., facing south-east, on dry ground, stony and calcareous clay. Vinification: 25 days of maceration. The wine is aged 24 months in oak barrels and 3 months in bottle. A wine true to the storied winemaking heritage of Tuscany.
