A fine example of Piedmont winemaking, this Dolcetto d'Alba DOC reflects generations of local expertise. Its 14% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Dolcetto 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards old wine that are 70 years old, with southern exposure, 400 m above sea level on a soil full of clay and limestone. Vinification: without using selected yeasts, for 15 days. The wine is aged 14 months in big oak barrels, at least 6 months in bottle. A wine showcasing the fog-kissed hills of the Langhe.
Piedmontese winemaking combines meticulous attention to detail with deep respect for tradition.
