A fine example of Piedmont winemaking, this Dolcetto d'Alba DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 12.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Dolcetto 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards vines located on mainly calcareous and clay hilly soils at 230-260 meters altitude with southwest exposure. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged a few months in steel. A wine combining Piedmont's trademark power with finesse and complexity.
Piedmont is renowned worldwide for Barolo and Barbaresco, its two great Nebbiolo-based expressions.
