Hailing from Sicily, this wine offers an authentic taste of the local terroir. At 14% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Nero d’Avola 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards sapling vines in a calcareous siliceous soils between 200 and 300 metres above sea level, in the Butera area. Vinification: destemming, alcoholic fermentation with maceration on the skins for 8-10 days and malolactic fermentation completed. The wine is aged 18 months in French barriques and at least 18 in bottle. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
