Tasting Notes

This exceptional Etna DOC showcases the authentic character of Sicily. Its 13.5% alcohol content supports a rounded, well-integrated style. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 80%, Nerello Cappuccio 10%, Alicante 10%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards pre-phylloxera vines up to 150 years old rooted on sandy and volcanic soils, rich in minerals and positioned on the northern side of Etna at 750 m above sea level. Vinification: in steel tanks with maceration on the skins for two weeks. The wine is aged 48 months in barrel and barrique. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
