This Etna DOC captures the distinctive personality of Sicily terroir. At 14% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 90%, Nerello Cappuccio 10%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards alberello trained and located in the Santo Spirito district, in Passopisciaro, with north exposure, soil of black volcanic sands, stones and effusive rocks. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in French oak truncated conical vats. The wine is aged 24 months in large egg-shaped oak barrels of 20 hl and 12 months in bottle. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
