A fine example of Sicily winemaking, this Etna DOC reflects generations of local expertise. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 90%, Nerello Cappuccio 8%, Carricante 2%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards the soil is fine and deep, composed mainly of pumice, fine unstructured clays and ancient powders. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature. The wine is aged 12 months in bottle. A wine reflecting the mineral intensity of Sicily's volcanic soils.
