This exceptional Etna DOC showcases the authentic character of Sicily. At 14% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 80%, Nerello Cappuccio 20%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from contrada Santo Spirito and Passopisciaro on the north side of Etna on sandy and volcanic soils at 680-750 metres s.l.m. Vinification: fermentation in steel and maceration on the skins for 10 days. The wine is aged 12 months: 50% in stainless steel and 50% in large barrels. Further 12 months in the bottle. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
