A fine example of Sicily winemaking, this Etna DOC reflects generations of local expertise. With 13% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 80%, Nerello Cappuccio 20%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards at 700 metres above sea level on sandy and volcanic soil. Vinification: fermentation in steel at controlled temperature with maceration on the skins for 10-15 days. The wine is aged 5-6 months in barrique for 50% of the mass, 3-4 months in big barrels for the remaining 50%. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
Sicilian producers blend indigenous grapes with international varieties, reflecting the island's rich cultural mix.
