Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 80%, Nerello Cappuccio 20%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. The palate shows depth and structure, with a finish that lingers pleasantly. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from vines of contrada Santo Spirito on the north side of Etna on volcanic sands. Vinification: fermentation in French oak vats with selected indigenous yeasts. Fully malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged 24 months in oak barrels and 12 months in bottle. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
