This Etna DOC captures the distinctive personality of Sicily terroir. With 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 90% and Nerello Cappuccio 10%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on volcanic sands at between 700 and 750 mt a.s.l. Vinification: 3 weeks in steel tanks at controlled temperature. The wine is aged 24 months in second and third passage barriques and at least 12 months in bottle. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
