Tasting Notes

This exceptional Etna DOC showcases the authentic character of Sicily. At 13% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 95%, Nerello Cappuccio 5%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards at 600-700 meters above sea level on volcanic sandy soils in Contrada Allegracore (Randazzo) and Contrada Martinella (Linguaglossa). Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel for 7 days with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged some months in steel tanks. A wine capturing Sicily's sun-soaked character and ancient viticultural roots.
